Give me a mountain, I move it for you
Give me a smile, I walk you with Titanic love
Give me a kiss, I shower you with love and passion
Give me two boys, I raise two kings
Give me your tears, I share it as a sage with love
Give me your worries, I move mountains for you
Give me your cries, I pray to Jesus with tears
Give me your trust, I hold hands with you in heaven

People Need The Lord

Light abstract with Pentax DA 50-200And I need the Lord
He is my light in the dark
~~~~~~~
Lyrics from People Need The Lord by Steve Green
Everyday they pass me by,
I can see it in their eyes.
Empty people filled with care,
Headed who knows where?
On they go through private pain,
Living fear to fear.
Laughter hides their silent cries,
Only Jesus hears.
People need the Lord, people need the Lord.
At the end of broken dreams, He's the open door.
People need the Lord, people need the Lord.
When will we realize -- people need the Lord?
We are called to take His light
To a world where wrong seems right.
What would be too great a cost
For sharing Life with one who's lost?
Through His love our hearts can feel
All the grief they bear.
They must hear the Words of Life
Only we can share.
People need the Lord, people need the Lord
At the end of broken dreams, He's the open door.
People need the Lord, people need the Lord.
When will we realize that we must give our lives,
For people need the Lord.
People need the Lord.
Photohunt -- Practical
Picture taken with Pentax DA 50-200
CRV with Pentax DA 50-100photohunt logo
I never thought that I would drive a white car, but that was the only interesting Honda CRV left in the dealer lot when I shopped for a car in 2005. And I have been loving it ever since. It is a very practical car for driving a small family with lots of cargo space. I drove my friend to SFO airport with 4 adults and 1 kid and with 3 large and 2 small bags of luggage and my CRV handles it with ease. I just wish it has better gas mileage like a hybrid and it will be even more practical for the environment. And my white CRV coincidentally matches color with my other white beauty -- my home.
Macau is my home town and all these photos bring special memories as I grew up in this small place about 50 minutes ferry ride distance away from Hong Kong. Macau used to be a Portuguese colony until 1999 and it is now part of China.
Fish Tank
old fish tank in milpitas home
My niece gave me the best idea for Christmas gift for my two boys. I used to have a 20 gallon fish tank with tropical fishes that I had for years. I search all of my photo archives and I can't find a darn single picture of my three lovely fishes that I had over 7 years. I gave up my fish tank when I moved to my current home and now is the time that I revisit the idea with my two boys and wife.
I sure remember the time that I gaze at my fish tank for a long time and it can be a wonderful hobby with my boys if they don't get wet with the fish tank.
Update: I managed to find an old photo with my previous home where I had a picture of my fish tank. I missed the three red parrot that I raised from an inch to 4+ inches big and they lived quite happily in the same fish tank until I moved to my current home. I released them in a fish pond back in Milpitas as the fish store didn't take them as free gift.
I have a difficult time finding a nice picture on smelly theme for photohunt, I hope Ben's baby foot picture will do. The photo can be deceptive as Ben really has baby feet and he always smells charming in my heart.
ABC Wednesday -- Late Espresso
I pass by this Cafe every night and it opens late till midnight. I am very happy in shooting with FA 50 f/1.4 in the night. It has jazzed up all my energy better than the aroma of the espresso. I only spent 20 minutes for the series and I wanted another hour and I had a hard time leaving the night scene
I manage to find a curvy beach picture cropped in Picasa. The second picture is not as curvy but I add this to the curvy post as they are taken around the same time and nearby locations to Half Moon Bay and Pacifica of California. This is my second post participating photohunt with this weekly theme set for 'Curvy'.
Thursday Challenge -- Autumn Colors
Olive Festival taken with Fuji F30Thursday Challenge
I took this shot with Fuji F30 last year during Olive Festival in Fremont last year. Time goes very fast and it has been a year that I have owned Fuji F30 and I still have not managed to finish the blog post on my thoughts on Fuji F30. It is a great point & shoot camera for taking snapshots and a perfect compliment to digital SLR types of camera.
Wednesday ABC -- Korean Lunch
My family just visited a Korean restaurant for lunch along with Pentax FA 50 f/1.4 and Pentax K100D. The pictures and my boy look as if the food are spicy, actually quite the opposite but they are as tasty as I can ask for -- very yummy and my FA 50 f/1.4 brings out the best in my lunch
The name of the restaurant is Za Zang in cupertino located on Steven Creek Blvd close to De Anza Blvd. I was so into the 'K' letter not knowing what to shoot besides 'Killing the Beast' and not until I stepped into Za Zang on Saturday, I realized I was in a Korean restaurant. Why didn't I think of that and I was lucky to have my camera gear ready. A true 'K' theme not planned and apology to WalksFarWoman for not having 5 favorite restaurants to join her meme on favorite eat out places. And I have 3 more places to go as my family eats out less for various reasons. And when we do eat out, we try to enjoy it as much as we can like my boys.
