Great collection of flowers and plants.
Great work Hin..how do you like the jupiter and the pentax 100mmm I think from my collection I am missing a 85-100 prime as I have the 28, 50, 55 and 135. I know the jupiter lenses are good but they are screw mount. I think I would really like a 100 AF macro to do portraits and everything else with.

@fRANK, the best macro lens on a budget that serves good for portraits for me is the latest Tamron 90mm f/2.8, the older version without Di will do just fine as I have used them and like it as a portrait lens. The other good candidate that serves well in 1:1 macro and portrait well is the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 1:1 macro Ex DG. You can search for them in my other blog with Tech Corner

And the Sigma 105mm is just as good. I like the macro in Sigma over the Tamron as I like to have longer reach to bugs; otherwise, both serve good for the money.

Both the Tamron and Sigma mentioned have the focus limiter which has a setting to use as a normal lens without the long reaching to the macro end in focusing. Once set on focus limiter, the traveling length on the focus throw is shortened and hence more appropriate for general use as in portraits.
